Bony Coffee in Koenji

Cycling between Koenji and Asagaya I came across this little establishment and decided I had to look inside. An old-style Showa-era Japanese coffee shop that's probably been around for at least 30 years, it's decked out with comfy chairs and yellowing wallpaper, probably neither of which have been changed since it opened. Service is friendly but slow and the coffee is great. A great place to read and let time slip by, though being an old-style shop, there is no smoke-free area, which is a downer.
